Tom Hanks Eulogy Is Good For A Laugh [VIDEO]
A number of years ago a good friend of mine passed away and I had to deliver a eulogy at his funeral. That was hard. He was a good radio friend at KALE-AM back in the day and shared lots of good times over the years.
This past week we lost Michael Clarke Duncan who co-starred with Tom Hanks in “The Green Mile”. Michael was the loveable death row giant John Coffey (Like the drink only spelled different). Tom Hanks delivered a story at Michael’s funeral like only Tom Hanks could.
A funeral can be a somber occasion but it is also a celebration of somebodies life. During the filming of The Green Mile Michael Clarke Duncan told Tom a story that stuck with Tom Hanks and he shared that story at Michael’s funeral. Watch the video. It cracked up the crowd and everybody had a smile on their face.
